In accordance with the recent COVID-19 guidance from the Ministry of Health, HITCH has now adopted the following measures to ensure the safety of its drivers and customers as of July 1, 2020.
Please see these changes below:
Mandatory masks during rides. Please note, if a passenger does not wear a mask, drivers have the right to refuse.
Passengers asked to sanitize their hands on entry.
Only passengers within the same party may travel together in the same taxi.
Our drivers will disinfect all touch points after each passenger journey.
Our drivers are encouraged to undergo regular COVID-19 testing.
As always, customers will receive a ride summary / e-receipt from HITCH that includes the driver’s name, vehicle licence number, date and time of journey, to facilitate contact tracing if the need should ever arise.
